C11000 Electrolytic Tough Pitch (ETP) Copper is known for its high electrical and thermal conductivity, good corrosion resistance and solderability. C11000 copper is used for welding fixtures, anodes, bus bar in electrical power installations, ground straps, commutators and current-carrying hardware.

C17510 and C17500 beryllium copper alloys are age-hardenable and provide good electrical conductivity, physical properties, and wear-resistance. They are used in springs and wire where electrical conduction or retention of properties at elevated temperatures is important.

The UNS alloy designations for cadmium copper alloys containing approximately 1% cadmium are C16200 and C16500. An alloy containing 0.1 to 0.2% cadmium is designated as C14300. There are no cast cadmium copper alloys. The microstructure of the cadmium copper is similar to the pure copper materials.

The UNS C14300 cadmium copper deoxidized alloy has high forgeability, high corrosion resistance and excellent hot and cold workability. This alloy can be fabricated by coppersmithing, drawing and upsetting, coining, stamping, hot forging and pressing, swaging, and spinning.
